According to this article, the WHO estimates that 1 billion people will die in the next century from smoking-related diseases. Okay. But wouldn't 1 billion people die anyway? Were these 1 billion people planning on living forever?
The question that then begs to be asked is, if not from smoking-related diseases, then from what will they perish?
